Road Warriors Fall to Fish in 10th 5-2 (5/10)

Bridgewater, NJ – First baseman Larry Barnes’ three-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning gave the Somerset Patriots a 5-2 victory over the Road Warriors before 6,566 fans at Commerce Bank Ballpark. With two outs and the game tied 2-2 in the bottom of the tenth inning, center fielder Mike Lockwood was hit by a pitch to reach first base. Shortstop Kevin Nicholson followed with a single to center to put runners on the corners for Barnes’ three-run home run (2) to win the game.
