 Bridgewater, NJ – The Road Warriors defeated the Somerset Patriots 3-1 at Commerce Bank Ballpark on Thursday evening to end Somerset’s five game winning streak. The Road Warriors took a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning. Third baseman Nick Ortiz singled, stole second base, and scored on first baseman Mike Huggins’ RBI single. The Patriots tied the game 1-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning. Second baseman George Sandel singled, advanced on a wild pitch, and scored on an RBI double by shortstop Kevin Nicholson.
